Torquay Reads aims to provide ownership of age-appropriate books for all children in Torquay to improve conditions of life. We also provide opportunities for engaging with reading and literature with the purpose of promoting and encouraging reading for pleasure. We promote and improve awareness of literacy as a vehicle for economic security, social mobility and well-being.
