These are Charici's general terms of use for using this website, not to be confused with our 'Charity Terms and Conditions' which are viewable when a charity begins the process of subscribing to Charici.
Charici General Terms & Conditions apply to the use of www.charici.org (the 'Website'). By visiting the Website you are bound by these Terms & Conditions, and Charici's Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to agree to these terms then do not visit the Website.

Modifications
Charici reserves the right to amend/update/modify these General Terms And Conditions at any time. Charici will indicate when amendments have been made and by continuing to use the Website and the service shall be treated as acceptance by you of Charici's changes. Charici reserves the right to terminate this agreement and stop the service at any time.
The Service
Charici lists a directory of all the charities registered on the Charity Commission's database and this information is subject to Crown copyright. Charici exists to promote charities across the country and the work they do. Charici aims to help people, businesses and communities easily discover charities to support and get behind in whatever way possible. Charici provides a platform for charities to be able to present and promote themselves, from event listings and active campaign listings, to promoting merchandise and linking donation payments in a way that is current and presentable to the general web user. Charities that claim their profile are able to take advantage of this. Charici offers those subscribing charities (charities that have claimed their profile and become subscribing members which is free) to take advantage of discounted offers from Charici selected charity suppliers to help their charity grow and save money in the process. Charici also pledges to ring-fence 10% from every optional charity subscription and produce a cash draw* where all Charici subscribing charity members that have made an optional payment are automatically entered. *Details on this are found within the Charity Terms and Conditions upon signup.
Using The Service
You do not need an account to browse Charici. Charities wishing to claim their profile and take advantage of what Charici has to offer will need to sign up for an account.
Charici is not responsible for any content, service, applications, terms and conditions, and is not liable in any way for any third party posting content to Charici. This is the responsibility of individual charity profiles.
Acceptable Use
You agree that the information displayed on Charici is for informative purposes only and you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, download, transmit or distribute them in any way which infringes the copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary rights of any party.
Termination
Charici reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time. You agree that Charici shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Website or the service. If you disagree with these General Terms and Conditions then you must not use the Website.

Charici is not responsible for any content, service, applications, terms and conditions, and is not liable in any way for any third-party websites that are linked from Charici Website.
Your Information
Any information provided by you whilst using Charici's Website/service is governed by Charici's Privacy Policy which can be found at the foot of Charici’s Website.
Intellectual Property Rights
You cannot use any content (for the avoidance of doubt, imagery, text, logos, music, trademark, graphics, videos) belonging to Charici without their express permission.

Service
Charici will make best efforts to keep the service available at all times. You agree that from time to time technical issues, updates and maintenance can arise which can interrupt the service. You agree that for the Website to perform well that you need a good internet connection with internet speeds suitable for streaming, a recent operating system and recent internet browser version.
Disclaimer And Limitation Of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Charici will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damages of any nature whether direct or indirect including any loss of profits or any consequential damages suffered or incurred by you arising out of or in connection with the use of the Websites and the service. You agree that using the Website and the service is at your own risk.

Charici takes reasonable steps to protect the Website from viruses. You agree that you will not hold Charici responsible for any damage relating to the use of Charici to your device and using the Website is entirely at your own risk.

These General Terms and Conditions are to be governed and construed in accordance with English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
