THE RYAN STANFORD APPEAL FUNDS RESEARCH INTO ALPERS SYNDROME, A RARE TERMINAL ILLNESS AFFECTING YOUNG CHILDREN. THE RESEARCH IS UNDERTAKEN AT THE WELLCOME CENTRE, NEWCASTLE.MUCH WORK HAS BEEN GIVEN TO RAISING AWARENESS TO ALPERS SYNDROME, THE RYAN STANFORD APPEAL AND ALSO COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER AFFECTED FAMILIES.
